AR Rahman News: Renowned music composer AR Rahman has been hospitalized in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, after suffering sudden chest pain, due to severe dehydration. According to the reports, the Oscar-winning musician reportedly experienced fatigue and weakness, prompting immediate medical attention.
“AR Rahman was taken to a private hospital on Greams Road in the city on Sunday morning, where he underwent multiple tests, including an ECG and echocardiogram. He may also undergo an angiogram later in the day,” sources told the media. Initial reports suggested that he had complained of chest pain and might get an angiogram. But, his manager has now cleared the air that the composer is fine and will be discharged in a few hours.
Sharing an update about his current health status, MK Stalin also took to X (formerly known as Twitter), and wrote, “As soon as I heard the news that Isaipuyal @arrahman had been admitted to the hospital due to ill health, I contacted the doctors and inquired about his health! They said he is fine and will be back home soon! Happy! (sic).”
Speaking to the media, doctors have stated that AR Rahman’s condition is stable now, and he is under observation for further evaluation.
