❤️WHY WE LOVE THIS RECIPE

This sauce is a great addition to your holiday meal. It’s super easy to prepare and the apricot preserves add a wonderful flavor. You can make this in advance and just heat it up when you’re ready to eat.  This delicious sauce adds the perfect amount of sweetness to the turkey.

🍴KEY INGREDIENTS

  • Fresh cranberries
  • Cinnamon
  • Allspice
  • Granulated sugar
  • Apple juice
  • Apricot preserves (I used no sugar added)

SWAPS

You could switch out the spices in this if you wanted. We love cinnamon and allspice but you can add nutmeg or ginger if those are your favorites. You can also switch out orange juice for the apple juice. I haven’t tried it but a can of whole cranberries may work just as well too.

🍽️HOW TO MAKE

This sauce comes together really quickly, so the hardest part is organizing the ingredients!

COOKING STEPS

Step 1
Add cranberries, cinnamon, allspice, sugar, and apple juice to pot and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Turn down to a simmer and add preserves and let simmer until it’s the desired consistency. It took about 8-10 minutes. Remove from stove and let cool.

⭐TIP

If you have leftovers, this is wonderful in oatmeal, on toast with butter or on an English Muffin.
